Frequently Asked Questions

  • I recommend booking at least 2 - 3 weeks before your desired date.

    As for ideal times of the day to book, in my experience, sunrise or sunset (golden hour) offer the best lighting, however will usually be the busiest times.

  • For graduation shoots, I recommend bringing graduation regalia (sash, gown, cap, etc), and ensure your hair/makeup is done beforehand. Feel free to bring any additional props you’d like as well (balloons, champagne, confetti). I’d love to work with you to incorporate those in the shoot.

  • While the pricing & packages page will offer a range of photos delivered depending on the type of session booked, the exact amount of images will depend on how efficient the session goes.

  • Edited photos will be delivered to your inbox via gallery within 1 - 2 weeks.

  • Unfortunately, I do not. Post-processing the images is an important part of the session! While I do not traditionally retouch or photoshop, I do apply my own “style” to the final look of the pictures. Feel free to check out my portfolio to see if this aligns with your vision!

  • I am a new portrait photographer - while I am currently focused on graduation portraits, I am completely open to it all (lifestyle, couples, weddings, etc)!

  • Please view my pricing & packages page for more information on rates. Once details are finalized, I will reach out with a full quote for your session!

  • Please fill out the contact form, or email me at jeffreyshenphoto@gmail.com. I will follow up within 1 - 3 days to finalize the details of your session, and send a contract your way to be filled out within 48 hours.

    I require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking to reserve your session date. The remaining 50% will be due the day of the shoot.

  • Once the session details have been finalized and the deposit has been received, you’re all set! If you wish to cancel, you will forfeit your 50% deposit and time slot.

  • Once your session is booked, if something comes up and conflicts with the session, please let me know as soon as possible! We can work to reschedule your session, however sessions are generally not able to be rescheduled within 24 hours of the original date. I do not allow last minute rescheduling for cloudy weather, only rainy weather.
